Favorite Items for Pampering!
Dear Friends,
As we are in Anti-Procrastination week and pampering ourselves on all those things that we have let go, many of you have written in asking about what products we all use. I am the original Product Queen! From the time I was a little girl I was always into my mother and grandmother's make up and hair stuff. Heck I was into anybody's make up and hair stuff. I love lotions and potions and love to play. I am a serious girly girl. I will get down and dirty if I have to, but I love girl stuff!! I am not generally the one that ha a lot to toss from the bathroom because I LOVE all of my products and I use them.
Here is a list from Amazon of all the things I use on a regular basis. Over the years I have used things that were cheap and things that were way over priced. Some things are worth the money and some are not. I live in a small town and have to order a lot of these things on line and I love the convenience of ordering from Amazon.
This list is not in any particular order of importance because they are all important to me LOL!

SKIN CARE
Face Wash - this is my all time favorite face wash - it is expensive but after trying so many different washes over the years this is my favorite. You do not need a lot of it so I make it last. We all have a tendency to use too much of our products at one time. It does not matter what skin type you are, it will wash off make up and really clean your face without drying it out. It does not have an overpowering scent or residue that is left behind.
If that face wash is just too pricey for you here is my second runner up to the Purity:
I try everything that comes out on the market for renewing your skin, reviving your skin, getting rid of wrinkles, improving the texture and blah blah blah. I am the consumer that these products were created for. So after trying many from dollar stores to department stores and everything in between I have finally found a line of products that live up to what they say they will do and do not require a loan to purchase them.

Make-Up : OH boy! This is my favorite part!! I told you I am a serious girly girl. I have gotten what I use down to a science and after trying many many many different brands these are my absolute favorites and exactly what I wear every single day:
Foundation:
Blush:
Eyeliner: I use an eye shadow for eyeliner and use a small flat angled brush to apply - I use two different colors - mahogany and navy, this brand is a little pricey but it lasts forever, I have had the same container for three years and have barely made a dent in it. Well worth the money.
Eye Shadow:
Mascara: Oh my head! I have tried every mascara on the market. I have the shortest, blondest eyelashes on the planet. I can barely curl them with an eyelash curler they are so short (but you know I try!) I have finally found a mascara that makes my lashes look longer and fuller. I have been wearing make up since I was a teenager and it has taken me till my late thirties to find THE one.
Powder - ok let me tell you that a good finishing and touch up powder is a very important product and I have searched high and low for one that is sheer, allows your skin to breathe and is not drying or cakey. I have found two that I love - powder is the one thing that I will not skimp on when it comes to price. It can really make a big difference.

Lips:
Lip Sticks are like nail polishes there are thousands upon thousands of choices. These are very personal. I like MAC lipsticks and always always always use this lip balm:
