Where do you keep your FlyLady Cling??
"God bless the smiling woman who greets me each day in a tutu and tennis
shoes-- telling me that I'm alright, she's alright and life is pretty
darned good!" - a member
WOW! I have to be honest here, when we asked people where they keep their FlyLady Cling, I expected "over the sink", "on the fridge", or "in the current zone" to be the most common responses. Was I wrong! Not only did I underestimate the places where the FlyLady Cling could be used, I also never realized the various reasons why she was placed where she was. You are going to enjoy this list. It is very powerful and very motivating. Thank-you everyone who sent in their "locations". We wish we could have posted them all. - FlyCrew
Side note: I know I am going to get emails asking "What is a FlyLady Cling?". So here is the link to our little cling, the first product ever offered by FlyLady in the FLY Shop. She is special. Enjoy!
From our members who keep FlyLady in Zone 1, the Front Entrance and Dining room.
"Hi!
I have Flylady clings all over the house and one at my office. Anywhere I find a hotspot - I put a cling there after I clear the hotspot. That place never turns into a hotspot again!
I didn't realize I had so many around the house until my 6 year old nephew asked what those stickers were. My 9 year old daughter said "that's the lady that helps us keep the house neat!"" - Flybaby in Minnesota
- I put my Flylady cling on the wall near the stairs so I remember to always carry something up with me and put it away instead of leaving it piled up at the bottom of the stairs. - Flying in Illinois
- I put mine on the front door so every time I enter the house it reminds me of my goals. (I hope it motivates my family also)
- I put mine at eye level on the back door to remind me to check and make sure the stove is off!!

"Well, I don't usually get to keep my clings. . .my kids take off with them.
They call her the Super-Hero-Butterfly-Lady. I will usually put one on a
surface that I just decluttered only to come back and it be gone, or one of
the kids screaming excitedly that they found the Super-Hero-Butterfly-Lady.
Everyone at my house loves you all." - a member
- I put my clingie on the window above my sink. It helps me to focus (I do a lot of my contemplaiting doing dishes lol) and to remind me that just doing a little at a time still accomplishes something. It all adds up in the end. Plus it makes me laugh when my kids see it and say "Hey Flylady, fly down and help momma!" I think they think of you as a magical farie godmother that flys with me when I clean. I guess I shouldn't have told them that that was you and you do help me FLY! LOL

- Hi FlyCrew --
It's a little redundant, but I keep my FlyLady cling on the wall under my kitchen window, right in front of my shiny sink. Hanging on the wall immediately to the left of the sink is my More Time for Moms calendar. This little corner has become my "fly" command center and home base; its quiet order always gives me a lift. The FlyLady cling reminds me every day how good it feels to have household routines in place, no matter how simple.

- My cling is on the backsplash above my sink. There is a fluorescent light above my sink that I almost never used to turn on. Now after I've shined my sink I turn the light on as a sign that I've begun to bless my home that day. The cling shines proudly under the light with it's silent encouragement.

- Dear FlyCrew,
I used to have a huge control journal with so much in it I never used it. I
found a 5" x 7" binder in my basement and I put my FlyLady Cling on the
front cover and use that as my control journal now. I keep it in the
kitchen where I see it every day.
- I keep mine on the kitchen cabinet which houses our drinking glasses, right over the counter which I use most frequently. With six children, I'm constantly getting drinks of water or snacks, so I get my Flylady reminder quite frequently.
- Hi FlyCrew,
I just received my first Flylady order with the cling. I immediately placed it on the front of the refrigerator door, at my eye level so as I walk by or get something from the fridge, Flylady waves her finger at me saying " don't get sidetracked, do your routines!". It has helped keep me on track.
Thanks so much!!

- My FLYLady flits around my kitchen. She starts the day on the dishwasher, to remind me to put away the clean dishes. Once I’ve done that, I move her to the ‘fridge, to remind me to take out something for dinner at the appropriate time. Once I take dinner out and get it into the oven, she moves to the cabinet next to the stove, to remind me I’ve got something in the oven. From there, once dinner is out of the oven (and it’s turned off!) she flits over to the dishwasher, to remind me to clear the table and load the dishes right into the dishwasher. She hangs out there long enough to remind me to fill and start the dishwasher, and then there she is the next morning (my washer runs in the middle of the night) to remind me to clear the dishwasher again.

- Dear FlyCrew,
I have two, one is at my desk area to remind me to do things just 15 minutes at a time. The other is on my oven between the digital clock and the dials. It does not get too hot here when I do use the oven so she stays there to remind me to keep my shink and kitchen shiny.
Thanks so much for all that you all do. -- Still fluttering in E. Tennessee
- Hi FlyCrew,
I put one of my clingies on the corner of my kitchen table. It's the
location where I have the biggest problem with a hot spot. Now, my hot
spot hasn't been totally eliminated, but I'm doing much better knowing
that I want to keep my FlyLady clingie from getting buried under a pile
of papers. It's helping motivate me to take care of my papers and I'm
spending some time figuring out what I should be doing with them and how
I should be storing some of them. Thanks for everything.

- Hello Dear Flylady and Crew.
I put my Clingie (which I received when I bought the fantastic Office In A Bag) on my refrigerator. It reminds me of many things associated with food:
- 1. To keep my Frig clean (No more science projects)
- 2. To make my weekly menu (No more hungry family wanting to know what's for dinner at 5:30pm)
- 3. The best one of all - To remind me to eat so that I can take care of my babies (I am on chemo drugs and the meds take my appetite away).
Words can't express all my appreciation for the wonderful things you all do for me and my family. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!!! - Flying High in Missouri
- FlyCrew,
I have two Flylady Clings and they live on my refrigerator, that is
until I need them. I use them to remind me of anything I need to
remember; like stuck to my kitchen window to remind me to water my
Christmas tree before I shined my sink. But especially on my washer to
remind me there is wet laundry still in there; when I put laundry in the
dryer, she goes back to the frig. I have a buzzer on my dryer to remind
me clothes are dry, and I make myself go immediately and take them out
and put them away.
But my favorite use for the cling is on my dishwasher. After
finding FLYLADY but prior to getting the cling with my order, I would
load the dishwasher, but I couldn't turn it on until everyone had
finished their showers and bathes (or else no hot water). So I
sometimes would forget to go back and turn it on and in the morning I
would not be smiling to see I still had dirty dishes. Well I started to
set the bottle of detergent on the countertop above the dishwasher to
remind me to turn it on. And that worked but it really bothered me to
have that bottle sitting out in my otherwise clean and decluttered
kitchen. Then I placed an order with the Fly shop and received my first
cling. I knew right away she would replace that bottle of detergent,
and she is so nice stuck on the front of my dishwasher smiling at me as
if to say "I'm so proud of you!" for not going to bed with a sink full
of dirty dishes. Thanks for all you do.

- Hello FlyCrew
After loading the dishwasher and starting it, I transfer my FlyLady cling
from the refridgerator (where she reminds me to love myself by watching what
I eat) to the dishwasher so that my dbf and I know that what's in the
dishwasher is clean and to remind us to empty the dishwasher. Once the
dishwasher is emptied, she goes back to the fridge.
Not only is the FlyLady cling useful, but just seeing it brings a smile to
my face. I don't know why, maybe because it reminds me that there is
somebody out there who cares about me, but I do love to go over to it and
admire it. I'm so happy to have it.

- I have two bright blue hanging file folders on my kitchen wall. One is labeled (cutely I might add) "bills to pay" and the other one is labeled "pending/filing". I keep my clingie on the "bills" folder. I see it every time I leave my kitchen and it really dresses up the hanging file folders. It helps to remind me that paying bills shouldn't be such a chore - that it blesses my family every I dive into it!

- Hey FlyCrew,
Since you were curious about where the Flylady clings go, I thought I'd share.
At my house the cling smiles at me from my refrigerator, right above the ice/water dispenser. From there she reminds me to check my control journal whenever I go to refill my glass of ice water. This way, not only do I drink more water but I flutter more too.

- My 5 year old daughter is learning to FLY too so she and I decided to put FLYLADY on the fridge to remind us to snack on healthy foods such as peanut butter and celery, yogurt, and sugar free jello. We try to bless our hearts every day with Mommy/Daughter walks. Thanks FLYLADY and crew for everything. Fluttering in Memphis
- I have put mine on the outside of my dishwasher. If the dishes are clean she
is right side up, dirty and she gets flipped over. It is not as nice looking
when she is upside down!! this motivates me to fill and run the dishwasher.

- Dear FlyCrew,
I had to write about my own wonderful experience with my new FlyLady cling. I was the happy and proud recipient of one at the recent KY FlyList luncheon in Lexington. One of the ladies had an extra one and gifted me with it. I went home and immediately put my cheery little cling on the microwave. I can see her from the kitchen island (our house's Mission Control where I do EVERYTHING) and she always makes me smile. Seeing her reminds me of the wonderful friendships I've made and helps me stay focused. Recently, my DH mentioned that I should move her. I responded with an emphatic no, then asked why he wanted her moved. "Because, seeing her there makes me want to clean something." Then I realized, he WAS cleaning more...
All I can say is, "Bless that little cling!" She won't be going ANYWHERE any time soon!

FlyLady Clings also love Zone 3, the Bathroom and One Extra Room (Laundry room, children's rooms, etc.)
"I wanted to add that I have a Flylady water bottle ("You can do anything for 15 minutes!") that I have put in a place of honor next to the glasses in my kitchen cupboard so I am reminded to get in my water and take advantage of the break to drink it!" - a member
- It is on my bathroom mirror because even with wearing glasses I tend to NOT see the tooth paste splatters.. so when FlyLady gets splats I know to clean the mirror.
- My clingie stays on my bathroom mirror.
But this, the tiniest room in the house, is basically all mine. It’s attached to the master bedroom, but because it’s so tiny my 6’ 4” DH hardly fits in the room and doesn’t even use the toilet -his knees would hit the wall!
BF(Before Flylady) I used to hate the room because it was so small and dark and I wanted a new, bigger bathroom, but because of Flylady and her crew, I started loving it. After decluttering it, I put a coat of paint on the dark cabinet, covered the ugly fake marble counter with of all things contact paper with some pale flowers on it. Converted the claustrophobic stall shower into an area for my hamper by hanging a curtain across the door (I use the shower in the bigger bathroom). Hung a nice white cabinet to put toiletry items in (no more 600 bottles of moisturizer – thanks guys), and keep my pretty towels in the cabinet under the sink. I have a fragrant candle in there that I light when I start my morning. Pretty artificial flowers on top of the toilet tank and some art work – created by me because I now have time and the space to paint (Thanks again).
And the best part of the bathroom is when I brush my teeth. I have an electric toothbrush and spend the two minutes saying my prayers and affirmations during that time while looking in the mirror – with Flylady staring right back at me. This room has become a sanctuary for me, all because of Flylady. It’s fitting she’s with me when I say my morning prayers.
It’s a room filled with Less is More.
Thanks Flylady and crew. What a wonderful thing you do!

- I liked the idea of scrubbing my shower with a little shampoo on a scrubbie, so now, every time I take a shower, I quickly scrub down one wall. To help remind me which wall to do next, I stick my Flylady cling on the clean wall after I scrub it. I have a large tile shower and used to dread cleaning it. I would put it off for so long that it would get gross before it got cleaned. With this system, it is never dirty, and it only takes about 1 minute each time I shower.
Take care,

- I guess it's because I don't like taking my Calcium pills (3 times a day) that I had trouble remembering. Until I hit on the idea to put one of my clings on the bathroom mirror. She starts at the bottom of the mirror and every time I take my Calcium pills she gets to flutter higher. It's nice to see her at the top now.
Fluttering in at least a few routines in Illinois
- I have one "Flylady Cling" on my bathroom mirror to remind me to wash my face, brush and floss my teeth before bed.
- I have one cling right now - I've only ordered from Flylady once (but that
will change - I'm saving up for the dusters!). I put it in my daughters'
bathroom on the mirror to remind them to wash their hands before meals. My
daughters are 3 & almost 5. They LOVE Flylady and asked me to draw up a
routine chart for them. I drew a picture of everything they have to do in
the morning (get dressed, make bed, have breakfast, practice piano, and
play), afternoon (lunch, nap, practice piano again, and play), evening
(clean up toys, set table, eat dinner) and bed time (brush teeth, bath, get
pajamas on, prayers, story time and bed). They love running to their
bedroom door (where I taped their routines) to see "what's next" on the
agenda.
Actually, I "sort of" have more clingies. The girls watched me print out
Flylady's Holiday Control Journal and asked if they could have the front
cover so they could color Flylady. I printed extra copies of the cover and
gave them to them. They colored them different colors and cut them
out. They taped them in different places to remind them of different tasks
they have to do (one on the wall by their beds to remind them to make the
beds, one on the door with their "routines", one on the wall by the toy
bins to remind them to put toys away). They even made some for me to put
in my bathroom to remind me to wipe down & swish in the morning, and one in
my dh's medicine cabinet to remind him to shave before heading out the door
to work (he sometimes forgets).
I just thought of another place - I can put one in the fridge to remind me
to get a lunch together for my dh in the evening. When I make the lunch I
can move the cling to the front door where he'll see it & remember to take
the lunch to work! - flybaby in Colorado
- Hello FlyCrew,
I keep my cling on my washer. When I joined Flylady, I thought my laundry room was too small. I had even considered an expensive remodelling job to enlarge it. After I boogied the laundry room and got control of my family's clothing, it was large enough and then some! So my clingie stays on the washer to remind me I was blessed with adequate space all along!

- Hi, Crew, I love you guys sooo much! I have trouble remembering if I have added fabric softerner to the rinse. So now, no more problem! At the start of the wash, the Clingie is on the rim of the machine. When I add the softerner, she goes on the washer door. Now at a glance I know if I need to add softerner. Thanks for all you do. God Bless. Flybaby in Tennessee.
- My FLYlady Cling is on my dryer...to remind me to fold all the clothes and
put them away and not procrastinate about it.
- Hi, FlyCrew,
I hate to leave the dryer running when I leave the house, but I always forget to turn the dryer back on when I get back home. Now that I have a Flylady Clingie, I put it on my back door when I turn off the dryer so Flylady will remind me to turn the dryer back on to finish drying the clothes. No more funny smelling stuff found later.

- DH and I have quite a few "line dry only" clothes. While it's not much extra
work to care for them--they go in the wash machine--I kept forgetting to
line dry and would toss everything into the dryer. Some clothes survive, but
others come out shrunken beyond hope. With our large family, I do at least
15 loads a week. Thank goodness for the Flylady cling! Now I place it in the
middle of the wash machine control panel whenever I load in something that
is "line dry" so I always remember to hang it up. Since I started doing
that, I have not ruined any more of our clothing!
- I live in a small apartment with the washer & dryer in the kitchen. I have to lift a section of my counter to get to the washer (The dryer is front-loading). I put a cling on the cupboard over the washer to remind me to keep that section of counter-top clear so I don’t have to clear it before doing laundry, and to remind me to clean the edges of the “trap door” part of the counter when I wipe the counter down.
- Hi, FlyCrew.
I've put my FlyLady cling inside my medicine cabinet. That way I see it
when I'm first getting ready in the morning and I can just hear FlyLady
asking me where my shoes are and what's for dinner. I also see her right
before bed, and if it's been a bad day she's reminding me to shine my sink
and get plenty of sleep. On a good day, she's saying just, "I'm so proud of
you!" and I can go to sleep with a smile on my face.

- Dear FlyLady,
I just read your sweet history of the cling. I wanted to tell you a use I
have found for it that turned out to be useful and funny. I created a
system where I scrub one row of tile on the shower wall, just one row a
day, with an old toothbrush, every time I'm in the shower. I couldn't
remember from day to day which row I was on, so I decided to put the cling
on the shower wall, with FlyLady pointing to the next row to scrub. The
first morning I opened the shower curtain, ready to climb in and take a
shower. Without my glasses, the cling looked like -- a big bug! (It was a
summer morning in the south) I gasped till I remembered it was dear FlyLady.
Thank you FlyLady,

- Hey There FlyCrew,
I put my FlyLady Cling on the wall where I can see it when I am decluttering my babies' clothes (DD 4 and DS 1). It is sooooo easy for me to say, "That was so cute on him/her! He/she will never be a baby again! I better save that...." The problem with that is, I have already saved their "coming home from the hospital" clothes and first blankie, first hat, and the very special things. I DO NOT NEED EVERY LITTLE OUTFIT THEY EVER WORE TO REMEMBER THEIR CHILDHOOD! But being sentimental, I cry and can't let go.....
Enter the FlyLady Cling! She swings her fishing rod at me and sings, "Please release me, let me go!" And I can. The DH looked at me in astonishment and said, "You didn't CRY this time!" We emptied the closets and drawers, took all the beautiful clothes to Goodwill (where they can bless another precious little one) and brought in JUST ENOUGH for them to wear NOW. And there is space left over, not to mention beautiful new clothes that fit them hanging, un-crammed, in the closet! Wow, and I don't remember a single outfit we gave away, imagine that.
She (the Clingie) follows me when we declutter toys, also, and old papers -- anytime I need that extra "moral" support. Works better than a call to sob at my best friend (and better than a kick in the pants!)
Thanks Forever,

- Hi FlyCrew!!
I keep my FlyLady cling in my dresser drawer. That is the one I first open every morning. There is FlyLady's smile cheering me on to begin my new day. That is what I have learned to live-that each day is a new day without any residual stuff from yesterday. What I got done yesterday was enough. Today is always my new beginning. And a great start is always that smile. I smile a lot myself these days. I am that happy.
I have accomplished a lot. I have had set backs. I have always gotten back on track by remembering every time-anything done imperfectly still blesses my family. I have been blessed from May 3, 2003 to today by all of you.

- First I put my cling above the kitchen sink to remind me to keep it shiny; now it’s in the bedroom above the spot where I used to throw my clothes on the floor that I had been wearing—just a reminder to hang them up. I'm almost 16 and I'm a flybaby. I use my cling for my desk/vanity in my bedroom. I use the desk for writing and school work but also for putting on my makeup and fixing my hair. The Flylady cling help to remind me to keep my things put away.
I also use the Girlfriends calendar from Flylady to keep track of my routines, my money, my monthly cycle, that I took my vitamin, to check the girls and of course my schedule.

- I put my Flylady cling in my livingroom on the tv, not on the screen but on the console. This reminds me to get up and do something, ANYTHING, when there's a commercial or to just turn it off and get moving! It is also a reminder that I shouldn't just sit while I am there - I can be doing lots of things while watching a favorite program, like FACEing my bills/budget, sewing and mending, working on my houseplants, brushing the cat, etc. (My cat has benefitted greatly from my fluttering and now gets brushed at least once a day - no more hairball clutter!)

Some of our FlyLady Clings are not content to stay in one spot! She has legs and likes to move around!
I never used mine until last week, although I've had it for 5 months. My
pride wouldn't let me move it off the back of the calendar. Last week, I
started setting it on the washer when I put a load in (my washer and
dryer are right off the kitchen) and then moving it to the dryer. No
more left-behind laundry! Now that my clingie has finally left its nest,
I may be brave enough to let it flutter somewhere else. But not until
the washer and dryer become automatic!
- Hi!
My flylady clingie is on the next box or area to work on when I come to a 27 fling boogie, 5 minute room rescue, etc. I can't ever decide whether to use the time in the week's zone or my "dungeon" (I have two dungeons yet to be de cluttered.) Having a clingie waiting in the next area to work on helps me focus.
My daughter gave me the (Flylady) Comfort Zone for Christmas. (Its so nice to see a quote each day, with or without the computer.) I was so glad to find the clingie that went with it! It went on my office door. Since January 1, I have reclaimed my office. It is actually a nice place to work, now. My DH even joins me there from time to time!
Can't wait to see what happens with the "craft" room, which is my next "dungeon".
Thanks, you are all great!

- Hi,
I just got a cling and I love it. I put my cling
above a spot that needed attention but I'd been
putting it off. When I came by I couldn't help
grabbing one or two little things until all that was
left was to wipe off the surface. The Flylady cling
makes me want to do it. There is actually a sparkling
countertop in our bathroom now. Next she's helping me
get a beautiful dresser top. Thanks more than you'll
ever know.

- Hi FlyCrew,
I work from home so I have an office with a personal desk and a work desk, both with computers and mountains of papers ect.. I realized as soon as I joined Flylady that these are my worst ongoing hotspots.
I have a Flylady (cling) in the middle of both desk to signify that these are hotspots. In my minds eye I'm not allowed to "smother" Flylady. It makes me smile as I imagine her muffled voice talking when something is placed on her. It helps me keep the desk(s) mostly straightened and it always encourages me to do a desk rescue daily when I receive the hotspot email.
I also keep one on top of the microwave and everyone in the house knows you aren't allowed to put things on Flylady. It works for us and keeps the hotspots under control.

- I love the cling! Mine floats around my house. I put
mine wherever I see hot spot flaming. I usually
notice them when I'm getting ready for work. I don't
have time to de-clutter in the mornings, so I put my
cling by whatever needs to be de-cluttered. Right now
it's on the wall right by my refrigerator, because the
top of my refrigerator needs to be cleaned off. It's
just a simple reminder that works for me.
It's amazing that the most simple things can be the
most effective.
Thank you!

- I have 4 FlyLady clings! My first one was put on my bathroom mirror which is where I start my day--just to help me get in "FlyLady Mode" and to "do" the bathroom before I leave it (pick up, wipe off, swish around). The second cling went on the corner of the kitchen window right above the sink! The third cling went on the mirror in the main (kids) bathroom. And the last time I ordered and got one, my 11 year old daughter wanted it for her bedroom mirror. I love the clings! Just a small reminder to take baby steps and I'm never behind and I can do anything for 15 minutes! Thank you and God bless your "ministry".
- Hi FlyCrew,
I've been a member for a few years now and am the proud owner of 4 clings. I keep one on the glass sliding door to my backyard to remind me to water the plants in my garden. I keep one on my bathroom mirror to remind me to swish the toilet before I leave the room. I keep one on my washing machine to remind me to turn off the water taps and the power when I'm done. Finally I keep one on the door of the microwave oven - supposedly to remind me to keep my sink shining - but mostly because just looking at FlyLady makes me feel good all over!

I love you Flylady. You give me hope when I have none. You provide tangible help when I thought there was none.
- One of my clings moves around the house, a week at a time, reminding me
which zone we're in. The other also moves around the house, helping me
stay on track with the part of my routines I'm concentrating on making a
habit or that I may be slipping up on. Is my sink not shiny??? There
she goes, on the window over the sink to remind me to shine, shine,
shine! Not wearing lace ups? I'll remember better if the cling is on
my master closet door. What about the daily swish and swipe? Into the
bathroom she goes. Laundry piling up? Into the laundry room to help me
keep it moving.
- Hi FlyCrew,
Thanks for all you do for Flylady!
I have 5 clingies throughout my house.
One cling is on my bulletin board above my More Time Mom Calendar.
I also have a cling on the inside of my medicine cabinet in my bathroom to
remind me to get ready for the day.
I have a cling on my computer to remind me to only stay there 15 minutes.
There is a cling next to my timer on the fridge so I actually use the timer.
The fifth cling is stuck to the lower half of my fridge so that my 2 year
old DS can play with it and talk about Flylady. He loves to use the feather
dusters, bless the world, Swiffer the floor, wash the dishes, empty the
dishwasher and help change the laundry loads. He is very persistent and is
very good about keeping me on track. We have been flying for almost a year
now and it is beginning to show.
Thanks for all you do!!!

And last, but not least, FlyLady inspires us in our workplaces, at our computers, on our treadmills, in our cars, with our wallets, and in places that I never even thought of! Enjoy!
"I left her behind when I made my last move, I didn't realize I had done so, and then it came to me, she is no longer here, I am not worried, maybe the person who moved into my old place, has seen her and is now a flybaby herself. I have made an order and am waiting for my stuff to come and will again have her peaking out at me to remind me to do things that need doing!" - a member
- Hi! I put my Clingie just above my calendar...to remind me to LOOK at the calendar!! I write tons of stuff on my "More Time Mom's" calendar...but forget to LOOK at it!! My flylady catches my eye and then I remember to look!!! Love from Chino Hills, CA.
- Hello,
I got a tread mill for Christmas. I am trying to exercise more. So, I put my cling on the tread mill, it helps me to think "I can do this for at least 5 minutes." And it usually turns out to be longer. Baby steps!
- in VT
- I have just moved mine to the patio door, so I remember to get on my exercise machine during the day. Hopefully I'll be sending my minutes more frequently now. The flylady is reminding me to excercise as soon as I turn down the hall to my bedroom! Flybaby in So. Ca.
- I have my fly lady cling at work on a picture of me and my
sister (now in our late 40s) when we were 1 and 3 years old
in a double kitchen sink bath!! My mom was born
organized...I was NOT! The picture also includes pix of
our baby girls in their bath tub baths! I keep the cling
there to remind me that MY kitchen sink is now clean enough
to bathe my baby girl (who is now almost 7)! and that
reminds me that no matter how far I have to go, I have come
a long way!!

- Mine is on my locker at work. That way I start and end my day with a smile, and it helps me get through even the worst days just by being there!!! flybaby in western pa
- Hi FlyCrew!
I have my Flylady cling right here on my laptop, just below the
keyboard, under my left hand. It reminds me to get up and do
"something" every time I lean forward to type! Another bonus? All this
additional movement has taken off 10 lbs from my generously sized self!
Thanks for such a great tool!

- Hi FlyCrew
As I tend to get carried away on the computer........time disappears.........my cute clingy sits on the corner of my monitor to remind me to Fly! And.....it works!!
Thanks for all you guys do to help us make our lives better. This year's motto LIMIT is the best yet........and it's working!!!

- In my book as a bookmark to remind me to stop at 15
minutes. (I estimate where I will be in 15 minutes
just in case I "ignore" the bell)
- Dear FlyCrew,
I keep a flylady clingie in the box that my bills and to-do lists are
in. It is a cute wooden mailbox my 9 yr old DS made in Scouts. It was
his idea to put the clingie in there. So now when I open the box on my
desk day, there is FlyLady reminding me to FACE my finances with no fear!
Thanks for everything,
A Flybaby in Maine
- I put my FlyLady Cling on the plastic sleeves that hold my credit cards in
my wallet. This reminds me to stay within the spending limits I set myself.
It has also helped me to keep my purse neat, so I'm not digging through
clutter to find what I need the next time. And I know I that way I could
see quickly if anything is lost or stolen and act in a timely way to protect
my identity and finances from misuse.

- Hi FlyCrew,
I have my flylady cling on the front of my checkbook to remind me to do the math....oh, I always wrote down the amount of the check, and ugly teller withdrawals, but never subtracted......so, never knew if I had any money. Now, I have Flylady smiling at me to remind me if I do the math immediately I have less stress.

- My cling is clung to my bill payer organizer. FACE really made a
difference in my life and I have my "adopted mom" to thank. Dd calls her
our "Fairy Godmother". We LOVE the Fly Crew and everything you do.
I was once told that the best way to eat an elephant was one bite at a
time. What I should have been told is the best way to eat an elephant is
standing next to a shiny kitchen sink. Thank you for giving us SHE's the
direction we all need.
Hugs to the FlyCrew,

- I keep my Cling on my desk at school (I'm a teacher) because my classroom is almost as cluttered as my home and I'm trying to do some clutter control there, too. In both places it's beginning to make a difference. Thank God (and Marla, too).
- I keep mine on my computer screen so I can remember not to get sidetracked and be on the computer for hours and hours and....( you know!!) ;o)
Idaho Potato FLYbaby
- I've been working on my "dungeon" aka my desk. My flylady cling is on my file cabinet to remind me to spend just 15 minutes a day sorting through stacks of paperwork. Well, I'm happy to report that you can almost see my desktop and the bookshelves are actually holding items that we use instead of stacks of paper. Yeah! I couldn't have faced this without your encouragement to take baby steps. Thank you.

- I keep one clingie in the room where our homeschool is set up, to remind me to plan my days, and plan
for unusual days when I need to do 'school on the road' for example: have work ready for the 3rd grader
to do while the 4 year old is having a check-up or something like that. the other clingie is on my bathroom
mirror to remind me to get dressed, wash my face, and to take off my make up at night.

- My FlyLady sits on my computer monitor to remind me to flap my stubby little
wings at work, too. Especially on Anti-Procrastination Day!

- FlyCrew-Because the ding-ding-ding-ding in my car that tells me the lights have been left on is not working, I am placing my Clingie above the light switch on the left side of the dash. Have already had one (1) dead battery and several near misses! Won't happen again. - in PA
- I place my "cling" in the most recent place I have decluttered as a reminder that I want to continue to keep that area from becoming like whatever it was before... I have one in my car (top corner of the windshield, passenger side, beneath the visor) since I did my last car cleaning - it reminds me to take everything out whenever I leave the car and I have found that it helps me find my car in parking lots (how SHE is that?)!... I also have one above my sink...
IL Flybaby
- We live in the Mid-West, where the winter temps can be warm one day and freezing cold the next. You may have the vent on cold one day and need the hottest heater the next morning. After a huge repair bill, our mechanic told me that moisture gets into the controls of your heating system (you know, that part that changes the cold air to warm, and from floor to vents, etc). Well, there's a little piece of plastic connected to a tiny motor that actually moves the flaps to close off one area and open another......to make a long story short, moisture gets in there and freezes the controls and if you jump in and shove the controls from cool to warm/hot before everything has a chance to thaw, you will break that little piece off.....and you'll never get warm air again, until you have it fixed! Suffice to say, that's just exactly what happened to us! So, he said when we get out of the van each night, make sure to push the controls all the way over to hot, so in the morning we can just turn on the engine and it'll warm up with out breaking anything! My Flylady cling, is on the dash, so I remember to set my controls correctly! Thanks......Flying in StL
- FLYLady smiles at me from the glove compartment every time I get in the car. She reminds all of us to buckle up. She's so proud of us when we do, and she always makes me smile.

- I put mine on my turtle's aquarium when it is time to clean the filter. LOL!
- I put one of my clings on the wall next to the cat box as a reminder to clean it every day. I also keep one on the door of my microwave just for inspiration as I go about my daily routines. I have an extra and am planning on giving it to a women at my gym who I recently "converted" by sharing your website info and lending her my Sink Reflections book.

- Thanks for the cling----I put the1st one on my computer printer to remind me I don't have to print everything to keep--it's all right there--I can save it in a folder in the computer and save my self--the sheishness of clutter. I keep the 2nd over the kitchen sink--where it all starts and the 3rd is in the van--for those gas station drills! These are all in family locations and we all remember how important our hotspot firedrills are to the whole family. Thanks Flylady and Crew!!
- I love to scrapbook, so I keep a flylady cling on my scrapbook desk! It
reminds me of my "baby steps" that need to be done... as well as keeping my
scrap area nice and tidy. I can get very caught up in the creative moment,
so that smiling face with her feather duster reminds me of how much I can
get done in 15 minutes. And 15 minutes won't spoil the creative moment,
just take me away long enough to get more creative juices flowing!!
I also keep one over the kitchen sink too!

- I keep a FlyLady cling on the side of my desk (at work) by the trashcan. It
helps to remind me that my desk is not a landfill - if something is trash -
throw it away; AND I also do a quick mental check to see if what I am
throwing away should be pitched or put in one of our recycle areas. I
figure FlyLady helps me to recycle about 10-15lbs of paper every week!
- Hi FlyCrew,
We have an electric water heater that we turn off when other appliances are on. So when we most need it we dont have hot water. I have clinged a clingie to Water heater so we never forget to turn on.

- Howdy ya'll, I have been given 2 clings by a friend who introduced me to FlyLady. I put one on my kitchen window by my sink for motivation. I gave the other to a friend. Then one day this summer our a/c repairman was telling me about his wife quitting work so she could be home with the kids. He said she was having a real tough time juggling everything and not feeling all alone in it. Didn't that sound familiar?!! I wrote a note about how much fun FlyLady makes being at home and gave her the cling and the web site address. I hope she's enjoying it! FlyBabe in TX
